Rubber mouldings come in various shapes, sizes and forms. You can use them to manufacture any item that you want from furniture to even statues and lawn ornaments. The great advantage of rubber moulding is that you can create any shape and size without having to add or take anything out of the original mould, and you do not have to worry about leaving any of your product exposed to air. Mouldings are made from a special type of rubber that has high resistance to heat, pressure and water so they will not get damaged by either and will not crack.

Rubber mouldings, like those from Meadex, are often used for decorative items such as gates, fences, partitions and other large structures that have a protective coating on the outside. For this reason, rubber moldings can be made into different shapes for each purpose. There is a low temperature rubber variant available that is available in sheets or rolls. This type of rubber will not be as strong as the higher temperature variety and will require additional additives to strengthen it.

Rubber Mouldings are manufactured in standard sizes using high pressure and a low temperature injection system. When you order a rubber moulding you will usually be given a number of standard molding shapes to choose from. These are generally used to make a basic outline of what the final item will look like, although you may also be able to request a special shape to fill in the details. For larger items, such as cars or large statues, you should ask your supplier to order an injection mold that has a larger hole for the ball pin to fit through.
