The best way is to gain an apprenticeship with a firm at an early age. You’ll be paid a modest wage, learn the trade and get on the job training experience which will stand you in good stead for getting a job when it finishes. The other way, or one that can run alongside the apprenticeship is to do an official course. This will deal with the practical side and give you classroom time to work on the other aspects of the role.
