If you are heading back to the office, it is understandable that team morale may have dropped a bit lower than usual. With everything that has been going on in the world it is hardly surprising that motivation levels have dropped a  little bit amongst staff – health worries, money worries and childcare worries are just some of the things that people will be dealing with at the moment.

Of course, you can always get the help of this inspirational speaker UK based superhero Jamie McDonald, who can get your employees feeling ready and motivated to work again. Also, you could take part in one of these team office activities to build teamwork and positivity.

Sinking boat is a popular team exercise that encourages people to discuss and think about various ideas as a group. A list of 10 or so different people is written out – for example, a doctor, a teacher, a young baby, a vicar etc. The team then have to decide in order of importance who they would save as lifeboats are limited. After they have completed the task, teams can discuss their reasoning with other teams and see how they both resolved it.

Another popular team game is the tower of paper. People work in teams to use one piece of paper per team to make the highest tower possible. This works well as a team game, as they can all share ideas, and gets people thinking creatively. It is fun at the end to see what other teams have done and how they compare.
