When a pallet is used it still has a mass of uses left in it. Rather than just smash it up you can use them to build several other projects. Don’t forget that the wood in a pallet is treated and very strong as it has just been used to carry and support a heavy load. If you call a used pallet racking Ireland based company you can be sure that you are getting some good ones to possibly build one of the following.
- A Bin store. If you are like me you get tired of having the big wheelie bins all out exposed on the driveway. Wouldn’t it be nice to have them stored somewhere? Rather than buy an expensive one from a retailer, why not just get three used pallets, paint them in protective paint and then nail them together.
- Quick fencing. Digging a trough and pouring in postcret you can easily make a quick and effective pallet fence. Once it’s painted it looks the part and you’ve saved on panels and posts.
- A Fort for the kids. Don’t believe me? Have a look at the photo. It can be done and as long as you have painted it in a protective wood preserver and checked for splinters it will be the source of many adventures.
