As we start to look towards the end of lockdown and travel restrictions many of us are tentatively planning trips once again. If you don’t want to go too far, then a great place to visit is Dublin. Whether you want to enjoy the nightlife and eat at the restaurants near the Olympia theatre like https://www.forno500.ie/  or explore the fascinating history of the city, there is really something for everyone to enjoy in Dublin. Here are a few ideas to get you ready for travelling once again…

If you want a real party, then head to the iconic Temple Bar. It is the home of the largest whiskey selection in the whole of Ireland and features traditional Irish live music. So, if you want to experience a proper Irish party, this is the place to be.

Ireland is famous for its Guinness amongst other things, so if you want to see how this legendary drink is made then take a tour of the Guinness factory where you can learn all about the history of the drink and how it is made before arriving at the bar when you can enjoy a pint or two of the famous stout beer.

Visit the beautiful St Patricks cathedral, the largest church in Ireland. Spanning over 800 years and named after Irelands patron saint, the beautiful architecture will take your breath away.

For some slightly more gruesome history, head to Kilmainham Gaol and take a tour to learn the history of the building and some of the past inmates who were treated terribly during their stay here.
