It’s almost Christmas again, which means fun with family, great food and presents! There are normally many, many presents. It’s the most important thing for your children, and that’s why hiding a gift from prying eyes isn’t as easy as you think. Where do you hide the Christmas gifts for your children? It’s essential to keep your gifts secret until Santa comes.

Loft or Basement

Your kids will tell you that your closet is the most popular place to find Christmas gifts. It’s easy to avoid this place: just head up to the loft or basement. Or even to the garage. Place gifts in plain or dull boxes, such as the one that your blender came in.

In a suitcase

You can use them to store items in any season. They are also great for hiding presents. If you have extra luggage, use it during the festive season. You can use a large suitcase to hide larger items, and a hard case for fragile gifts.

Wardrobe

Whilst the wardrobe is often the first place prying eyes will look, if you upgrade your wardrobe to create bespoke storage areas, you’ll definitely have more luck disguising any secret gifts. Find out more about Fitted Wardrobes Bournemouth by visiting Lamco Design

Underwear drawer

Most kids won’t check certain places. This is a place that many people will not check, such as the laundry basket or the area where you keep your smalls. It’s a great way to hide small gifts and money for Christmas. Just don’t put them in the washing machine!

Your child’s room

It’s a clever way to hide gifts, but it might seem risky. Children are curious and will look in places other than their room to find hidden gifts. Surprise them by hiding gifts in closets or under beds. Avoid asking them to tidy up their room right before Christmas. They won’t know that they are so close to their gift!

You can’t go wrong with a boot

When you leave home, your family will be more likely to look for a present. Why not bring a present with you? Instead of packing gifts in tote bags, you can hide them in your luggage and take them along with you. Cover your gifts with a blanket to prevent sneaky eyes from showing interest.

The Laundry

Most children will ignore the cleaning supplies cabinet. Consider hiding your gifts at the bottom of a laundry basket or cleaning cabinet.
